The Leapz Covenant
Love, not hate. Every member and every group agrees to this before joining. It applies to everyone the same way.
What we welcome
- Groups and people working for the good of their communities and of humanity as a whole
- Honest disagreement, debate and different points of view, offered with respect
- Events, volunteering, mutual support and fundraisers for good causes
What is not allowed
- Hate. Attacking, dehumanizing or excluding people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious illness.
- Hate groups. Groups, symbols or causes that promote hatred of any people. Groups like these will not be approved, and will be removed if discovered.
- Harassment. Targeting, threatening, stalking or piling on anyone.
- Violence. Threats, glorifying violence, or organizing harm.
- Scams and fake fundraisers. Fundraiser links must go where they say they go, for the purpose they describe.
- Spam. Repeated, unwanted or purely commercial posting.
- Sharing private information. Posting someone's private details without their consent.
Groups
Every new group is reviewed by a Leapz moderator before it opens. Group owners and organizers are responsible for what happens in their group, including events and fundraiser links they post.
Vouching
When you invite someone, you are vouching for them. Each account shows who invited it, and moderators can see the chain of invitations when reviewing a report. Invite people you know and trust.
Fundraisers
Leapz does not collect, hold or process money. Fundraisers on Leapz are links to outside sites. Give only to causes you trust, and check the destination before donating.
How reports and removal work
- Anyone can report a member, group, post, event or fundraiser with the Report button.
- A moderator reviews every report.
- If something breaks the Covenant, moderators may remove the content, the group or the member. Removed members are signed out and their unused invites are cancelled.
