What we collect
When you join: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, plus who invited you. When you use Leapz: the groups you join, events you RSVP to, posts you write, fundraiser links you add and reports you file. If you ask for an invite: the details you put in that form. Photos you upload (profile photo, group logo, event and post photos) are resized on your device and location data is removed before upload; only signed-in members can view them. When a member invites you by email, we store your email address with that invite.
Resumes and your Leap card
If you upload a resume or CV on the Connections page, Leapz reads it once to pre-fill your Leap card and then discards the file — it is not stored. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed before the text is analyzed, and the reader is instructed not to record age, gender, race, religion, health, family status, nationality or similar personal details. On the live site, the text is analyzed by Cloudflare Workers AI. Nothing from the resume appears on your card until you review it and press Save. Your Leap card (skills, roles, education, causes) is visible to signed-in members unless you turn off “Show me in Leaps and people search,” in which case only your connections see it. We send email only for invites, password resets and — if you leave the setting on — new events in your groups. You can turn event emails off on your profile page. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm wording; add mailing address if required]
How we use it

Who can see what
Other members can see your name, bio, location if you add one, the groups you're in and who invited you. Moderators can also see your email address and moderation history.
Where it's stored

Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
